Stepping up for Mental Health

SuperControl is stepping up for mental health and taking on the ultimate walking challenge.

Putting our walking boots to the test, the SuperControl Scotland team aims to collectively walk the 2,100-mile distance to and from our Polish office, while the Polish team will walk the opposite, all in just three weeks. The challenge will support two charities focussed on mental wellbeing – Support in Mind Scotland and Fundacja eF kropka.

SuperControl is an organisation that genuinely cares about its people, and their wellbeing is our number one priority. There’s no denying that the COVID-19 pandemic has been tough on everyone, and we want to give back to those looking out for us.

We take our colleagues’ mental health seriously, and we are committed to healthy working lives. As a result, we have trained mental health champions across the organisation. To show our gratitude for the third sector organisations facilitating vital support, we will be donating funds to two charities focused on supporting those affected by mental health.

Charlotte Wight, Operation Director, has commented on the challenge. She said: “This is going to be a tough challenge, but the end goal is worthwhile. The work of both Support in Mind Scotland and Fundacja eF kropka is close to our hearts, and we look forward to contributing to their cause. The SuperControl teams’ passion and enthusiasm for fundraising and challenges such as these are second to none. This acts as an opportunity for collaboration and togetherness amongst our Scottish and Polish teams. It’s a win-win all around. Watch this space; we can’t wait to reveal our final fundraising total and mile count!”

Join us in stepping up for mental health and help raise vital funds for Support in Mind Scotland and Fundacja eF kropka’s life-changing work.
