SuperControl® in action - Invitation to Tuscany

Overview 

Nearly four decades ago, Dan Wrightson’s family moved to Italy with a dream of living self-sufficiently on a Tuscan farm. A few years later Dan’s mother rented out the property for a few weeks and before long their family business Invitation to Tuscany was born. The company is now a Tuscan villa specialist and markets 200 properties on behalf of their owners in Tuscany, Umbria and Provence in France. 

Challenge 

With so many properties throughout Italy and nearby regions, each with an individual owner, it’s crucial that Dan has a system to effectively manage large numbers of bookings. 

Dan’s business also prides itself on the personal touch with drawings and watercolours of each property and strong relationships with every property owner and customer, so it was important that any new business relationships fit within this ethos. 

Solution 

After spending many months researching booking and management software to find the right fit for his business, Dan quietly watched SuperControl’s gradual and organic evolution before becoming a SuperControl user around two years ago.  

Since then, he has utilised a number of core features he particularly values, including the Grid View which enables him to view multiple bookings on the same screen to successfully manage a large number of properties. He has made extensive use of the auto emails functionality to automatically trigger finely tuned bespoke emails to specific profiles of guests, linking customised information to each property. Dan has also crafted auto emails to deliver a strong and professional communication pathway for his owners, relating to payments and property management matters.  

As business administration gradually becomes more efficient, Dan hopes to be able to spend more time on one of the most unique parts of the business that he loves the most, creating beautiful drawings and paintings to showcase each Tuscan property.
