Tell us about your current role

After 7 years in sales I have recently returned from maternity leave to a new role of Executive Assistant. My role entails a variety of things, office management, assisting the directors and facilitating operational projects.

What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most?

When I started there were 5 of us in a small office in Orroland. We have since moved office twice and the staff has now grown to over 40. It has been amazing watching the company grow and evolve. In my new role as Executive Assistant, I work closely with all departments within the company and I love working with all my colleagues.

I also love that we are solving problems for our clients, old and new. Its exciting to have a new client come on board who have problems and we are able to help them grow their own business. Seeing the huge impact SuperControl has on their businesses and solving problems is very rewarding.

Tell us about yourself

I have lived in south west Scotland all of my life and I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world. Weather permitting, I love to get out for walks in the amazing countryside. I also love curling up with a good book, socialising with friends and dining out. Anyone that knows me will tell you I love food! I recently had my daughter Sophie so don’t have much free time anymore but I love nothing more than spending time her, family and friends.

What’s your favourite type of holiday? What do you look for in a holiday rental?

Shani Asbridge | SuperControl

I love sun/beach holidays but I also love city breaks/exploring. Even though relaxing holidays may be a thing of the past with a baby in tow.

My favourite recent holiday was a city break to Rome. It is a beautiful city and the buildings are AMAZING! As a food lover, where better than Rome? We walked for hours and took in all the sights. I was 5 months pregnant at the time which meant I needed to stop regularly for ice cream.

When booking a holiday I always look online so it needs to be easy to view and easy to book. Photos are also a must for me.
