Simon Andrewes, co-owner and founder of Saltbox Escapes, is new to the SuperControl community. Welcoming guests to his picturesque property snugly situated in a remote corner of Gloucestershire for the first time in May 2021, Simon has shared why he chose SuperControl to play a role in his self-catering journey.
“When my wife and I decided to retire early from our full-time careers and make our own “escape to the country” from London to the beautiful Forest of Dean, starting a small holiday business seemed the ideal way to keep me busy and out of trouble!
“The Coach House, our first self-catering accommodation, officially opened its doors in May of this year. Situated between the forest itself and the River Wye, we knew this property was something special and we wanted to share it with the world.
“I quickly recognised the importance of having a proper booking management system for our business. I was looking for software that offered a comprehensive channel manager with scope for expansion when needed. I found SuperControl mentioned favourably several times on self-catering Facebook communities. Before long, I’d signed on the dotted line, and I’ve been happy with it ever since.
