Showcase the experience
If your property is as festive as a Christmas card be sure to show it. Consider temporarily changing to photographs of your cosy retreat on your website and your booking channels. Be sure to include your festive decorations, and if wood burners and hot tubs are part of your experience, then showcase it!
Brilliant booking extras
Could you offer a festive-themed hamper as a booking extra with specified dates settings from your SuperControl account? You might include traditional favourites such as mince pies and Christmas pud’, or a cheese hamper with the best of local produce or maybe a movie bundle with all you need to cosy up and watch your favourite festive film. ‘Tis the season for being creative, so what makes you happy at this time of year and what might you offer your guests?
Plan for adverse weather
Winter can also be a pain in the neck: scraping the car, salting drives, getting wood for the fire. Give your guests what they need to make their life a little bit easier. Get creative with guest communication
Spruce up your communications by adding a little ho ho ho to emails and guest log-in pages. Are local amenities closed for the season? Where is the best place to get a hot chocolate? Is there a Santa’s grotto nearby? Be sure to share where the festive fun is happening in your community.
